The petitioner-prisoner, said to be in custody for last about
12 years and 2 months and at present serving the sentence at
Open Air Camp, Bichwal, Bikaner, has sent this letter petition
with the submissions that though he has availed of two regular
paroles of 20 days' and 30 days' in the past without any cause of
complaint, yet his next prayer for grant of 40 days' parole has
been declined merely with reference to the adverse report said to
have been sent by the Superintendent of Police, District Jhajjar,
Haryana.
The respondents in their reply though have admitted the
fact that as on 25.01.2014, the petitioner has served the
sentence for a period of 13 years 6 months and 19 days inclusive
of remissions but have only stated that the parole application of
the petitioner-prisoner was rejected with reference to the adverse
report of the Superintendent of Police, Jhajjar, Haryana. D
