This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner
alleging willful disobedience of order dated 12.03.2013 passed
by this Court, whereby, the respondents were directed to
maintain status quo of the land in question.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that
the impugned order in the writ petition was passed by the Board
of Revenue on 27.02.2013, whereby, the decree passed by the
Revenue Appellate Authority was reversed, copy of the order
was received by the petitioner on 04.03.2013 and writ petition
was filed before this Court on 08.03.2013, however, the
respondents executed sale deed on 07.03.2013, and the interim
order was passed by this Court on 12.03.2013.
It is submitted that purchasers despite being aware of the
order passed by this Court are seeking to change the status and
that execution of the sale deed itself was by way of overreaching
the process of this Court and, therefore, the respondents be
dealt with appropriately.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have
perused the record of the contempt petition.
It is apparent that when the order dated 12.03.2013 was
passed by this Court, this Court was not aware of the fact that
the property already stands transferred on 07.03.2013 as
probably the petitioner himself was not aware and the sta
